MagiNation: Back from the Dead!

I'd wager that not a lot of folks remember MagiNation Duel, but those who do love it. A neat little game that died on the steep slopes greatness, MagiNation was an American anime-styled CCG with a dead-on mix of cool art, high production values, lovable characters, and game play that was both nuanced and truly fun. It even got a Gameboy game back in its heyday. Unfortunately, fans lost interest in the long gaps between expansions and the game just kind of lost momentum and stopped.
But apparently that's not the end of our story! Now there's word of a new cartoon coming to the Kids WB based off the series, and the MagiNation website has some new life to it, hesitantly offering fans the following:
Company operations, Magi-NationĀ® Duel expansion releases and support are suspended until the Magi-NationĀ® animated series is released.
So cross your fingers MagiNation fans! It's not strong. But we've got a pulse!

I remember the Game Boy game. It's really hard to find. Even when it first came out I remember searching for ages at my local Babbages and Software ETC. Magi-Nation is right up there with Shantae in the category for best little known games for me.
I've been waiting for the cartoon for years now. Previously the animation was supposed to premiere on Toonami. I don't know what happened with that though. =/
I hope this "revival" really does occur though.
I found this game for $5 at a store in the Seattle area. I love the card game so I'm trying to get into this. I love the starting music that is also the music in early fights.
ps. you can get magi nation cards for CHEAP in the last place on earth they store them, Cardhaus games in Lynnwood. I think I got one box of 36 boosters for like $29 bucks, up from like $20 last I'd checked.
