Warmachine Pirates: Who Wants to Touch the Monkey?

For a long time now, Privateer Press's name has been something of a misnomer. Sure, there's pirates in their Iron Kingdoms world, but they've never been that important. The pirate theme to their website and a few of their products has always just been a kind of cute quirkiness.

Well all that changes come May. A whole raiding party worth of scallywags comes ashore in the form of mercenary pirate minis for the Warmachine game. Privateer does a great job of mixing awesome sculpts with quirky coolness, throwing in eye-patches, monkeys, and pegs apleanty. Aside from the appropriately piratical warjack, the Mariner (seen here), there's also Bosun Grogspar, Doc Killingsworth, Lord Rockbottom, and the monkey-toting Mr. Walls, just to mention few of the other awesomely-named sea-dogs.
