Devil's Due: Four Color Fantasy

First Dragonlance, then Eberron, now Devils' Due Publishing—purveyors of fine fantasy comics of all kinds (not to mention Transformers, G.I. Joe, Darkstalkers, and other bits of vintage nerd nostalgia)—is taking on R. A. Salvatore's Dark Elf Trilogy. Already having headed full bore into the world of dragons, dwarves, and drow named Drizzt, Devil's Due is halfway through the second work in the series that made every third fanboy's D&D character a dark elf with a shadowy past. Check out the whole run of Devil's Due's D&D offerings on their main site, or the newly posted preview of Streams of Silver, Part II. As action movie and cartoony as many of these D&D stories can be, the transition from novel to comic really makes it feel like they're finally finding the medium they were meant to have.
