Neverwinter's Never-Ending Nights

This week Obsidian announced the first expansion to Neverwinter Nights II, Mask of the Betrayer.
In Neverwinter Nights 2: Mask of the Betrayer, players are transported back to the Forgotten Realms shortly after the events detailed in the original Neverwinter Nights 2. Following the climactic battle against the King of Shadows, the player awakens alone and stranded deep beneath the earth. Surrounded by a horde of evil spirits, the player embarks on an epic adventure that reveals his true destiny.
Not really a surpise since the first NWN saw at least three expansions hit gamestore shelves with literally hundreds more online (many of comparable quality, and some—arguably—superior to the commercial releases). But the announcement had me at the sentence, "Set in harsh, spirit-rich Rashemen, near the powerful nation of Thay." Thay? Red Wizards maybe? Yes please. Who can't love a group of wizards whose evil is rivaled only by their fabulousness?
You can check out more details and the full press release on Obsidian's site.

It's not just any 3.5
I'm assuming NN takes place after Baldur's Gate, although I don't recall any direct mention. I always hated that Dynaheir was killed, she was a total diva.
Perhaps her twin sister, or better, brother, could make an appearance in this game.
"For right, and I always am!"
