Diesaics: Stacking Dice A Whole New Way

Without questions, the depths of gamer OCD are vast, dark, and deep. I've played with gamers who set all their dice so the highest number constantly face up, "charging" those numbers up. I've played with gamers who spend more time constructing elaborate dice pyramids than they do playing the games the dice are used in. I've even played with a gamer who relied upon a tiny d20 made from a meteorite to confirm all his critical hits—which he kept in a tiny pouch around his neck and brought out only for this purpose. Gamers are weird, and what they do with their dice is weirder.
Thus, Steel Sqwire's new Diesaics seem like just the next inevitable crazed step. Created by artist Tony Mastrangeli from approximately 2,000 individual six-sided dice, these pieces of fine gamer art create unique, gaming-related images in a precise, mosaic style. Available by custom order, a number of these Diesaics are being debuted at this August's Gen Con Indy. Hop on over to Steel Sqwire's site to see a few more.
If I were going to go for one of these, I can't imagine what I'd custom order... probably a d20 or something.
