Early 2008 Wizards of the Coast Schedule Revealed

One canny retailer over on ENworld snagged a copy of the January through April edition of the Wizards of the Coast catalog and compiled its contents for the world. Here's the RPG section of the post:

The complete posting features books and miniatures as well (I both love and HATE to say there's a new Ravenloft title). An interesting observation about this list of RPG releases. For four months there seem to be exactly ZERO new D&D rules expansion books. You know, the bread and butter of WotC's usual D&D line-up. Sure, there's a few Eb-eberron books, and bits in the tiny adventure and Dungeon Tiles lines, but nothing in the vein of Complete Sorcerwizard III, or Vaguely-Insulting-Racial-Term Adventures II, or The Really Really Book of Giants. No rules books, huh... wonder what that means for big announcements this Gen Con.

The Ravenloft title is a novel. The guy who's writing it is a regular poster on the Fraternity of Shadows (www.fraternityofshadows.com) and says that part of the book takes place on Earth during the Crusades (though not Gothic Earth from Masque of the Red Death, apparantly).
I'm pretty stoked about it, and Ari has posted on the Fraternity and the long departed and lamented Secrets of the Kargatane sites for years.
