Last Night On Earth: The Zombie Game That Thinks Its A Movie

Just a heads up about a little gem our other resident necrophile (in a good way!) Toots brought to my attention, a new horror board game called Last Night on Earth: The Zombie Game, by Flying Frog Productions. At first glance, the game looks like a more complicated version of Twilight Creations's popular game Zombies!!!, in that you play survivors (aka walking meat) trying to flee the Zombie Apocalypse and there's a big modular board. In a cool twist, though, you can also play the zombies—which immediately gets my attention. Also, the game seems to think it's a George A. Romero movie, and has a box, website, and Myspace page that touts it to look like an entry into the Night of the Living Dead series. The game even comes with a soundtrack to add to the horror-film feel, and a trip by the game's gallery page also reveals that—as with any flick worth my time—a cast with some pretty adorable guys (check out the best after the jump). Looks very cool, and it doesn't hurt that it's getting great marks over on boardgamegeek.com.
Head on over to the Last Night on Earth website for rules and other details, or, if you just want to check out the music, check out their track list on Myspace. Cool creepy stuff, just in time for your Halloween costume gala and pumpkin booze bash!

My Favorite! (Insert obligatory "da bomb" or "Dy-NA-Mite" joke here.)

Up for grabs! Any takers?
