Free Game Friday: 1000 Blank White Cards

In a week of firsts, this is the first Free Game Friday that's a card game! It's not your usual card game, though, because the only real object is to have fun, and you draw the cards as you play.

That's right, 1000 Blank White Cards! All you need are pens and blank index cards cut in half, and you're set for the time of your lives. You start out with a deck of sixty blank cards (or more depending on the size of your playgroup), and you all draw five blank cards and DRAW five cards (that can give points, take away points, or really do anything you want). Then everyone picks up one card from the deck per turn and plays one card either on themselves or another player or whatever, and then the next turn happens. At the end of the game, you lay out all the cards everyone drew for the game, and you each decide a set number of cards (that you didn't draw) that are funny enough to be preserved in the "stockpile" and be mixed in the deck in future games. And that's it!

1000 Blank White Cards is absolutely hilarious—we've been playing it for years and our stockpile currently has around 400 cards. There's a gallery of some of my favourites that I or my friends have drawn after the jump (mostly tabletop gaming-related)!
