Free Game Friday: Metal Öpera

Welcome to this week's Free Game Friday! Having recently watched the entire first season of a certain Adult Swim cartoon, I could only do one thing: highlight what is arguably the most metal RPG ever: Metal Öpera.
Harlekin Maus' Metal Öpera is a simple game that's loads of fun and easy to pick up and play (much like Risus of two Free Game Fridays ago). But while Risus was a self-proclaimed "Anything" RPG, Metal Öpera is something very specific: a game about Rockers fighting against the tyrannical galaxy-controlling State in the far-flung future. You "hammer out most of the details during game play," which is all well and good, because if there's one thing I've never seen it's more than one person who has the same vision of what constitutes what's metal or even rock n' roll.
Your Rocker embodies the concept of freedom and is out to free your fans and eventually the galaxy in general from the oppressive grip of the Tyrants. Your character is made up of three parts: Style (what makes your character unique), Axe (your character's signature weapon/instrument/weapon-instrument that they can NEVER lose unless the player agrees to it—as a vocalist, I wonder what my Axe would be), and Scores (Rock N' Roll, Metal Soul and Kickin' Ass). The Tyrants themselves are detailed and they're pretty freakin' BRUTAL, each with their own BRUTAL planet.
No sense in saying any more when you can just head over there and read this concise and well-crafted bit of gaming fun—METAL ÖPERA!!!
(Know of any RPGs that are just as metal? I'd love to hear from you! Reply here!)
