Paizo Wallpapers and Impromptu Holidays

When I started writing this post, it was just going to be about the awesome wallpapers the kids over at Paizo Publishing had been making using the covers of their monthly adventure book, Pathfinder. Then I buzzed over to discover that yesterday was "Erik Mona Day?"
Apparently, Paizo fans got together on the Paizo message boards Wednesday to declare November 8th a holiday in honor of the company's publisher, ur Greyhawk goober, and gaming firebrand, Erik Mona. But going beyond just the customary thank yous, love sonnets, and random silliness, the fans pitched in and bought the gaming company a whole slew of pizzas. In the words of the man of the day himself, "Ok, this wins the award for most surreal thing to ever happen to me. Thanks, everyone, and happy Me Day!" Just a nice like gesture showing how great gamers can be when it comes to the games they love. You can check out pictures from their impromptu pizza party over on the Paizo blog.
Now, back to the topic I really wanted to show you all! The first twelve issues of Pathfinder are supposed to feature art from the best brush in modern gaming art, Wayne Reynolds. But why let his incredible work just get Cheeto stained on your game table and hidden on your bookshelf when you proudly display it on your computer desktop!? You nab your favorite of the first six Pathfinder covers as desktop wallpapers either on the Paizo blog, or right after the jump. Giant oni giants beat the heck out of my months-old, homemade Bella Sarah pony collage any day!
