As with all the sites in the GayGamer.net family (along with Homotron, Pink Kryptonite, and Popsucker), expect more that just news for the GBLT community, Velvet Dice Bag is meant to be a place where gamers of all stripes, tastes, persuasions, and skills can come to talk about and play the games they love. Over the next few days expect to see a number of new features cropping up, like Free Game Friday—a free game for your weekend—and Game of the Week—a game, new or old, that we love and hope you will too. Also, take a gander at our new store, where you can see our picks of what’s new and cool on game store shelves (and help the site out in the process).

With all this new stuff we’ve recruited some help to make it all happen, so let me introduce three new writers: Faerie Dragon and Mad Pawn will be helping me out with the weekly writing, reporting on all the madness that is card, minis, board, and role-playing gaming. Also, Randi Url, the belle of our ball, will be bringing us a look at gaming’s feminine side every Sunday with her column, Dice are the New Shoes. And I, of course, remain Lectric Lich, writer, reporter, and necrophile to the gaming stars.
