And now—Rifts: The Movie.
Palladium recently discovered that Rawson Marshall Thurber—most well-known as the writer and director of Dodgeball—is a big Rifts fan and is soon to begin work on a screenplay for the currently Jerry Bruckheimer-owned property. After the writer's strike is over, of course.

It's not just any 3.5
Oh man I love me some Rifts (the game itself is broken but it's a fun world). If done well (and it almost certainly won't be) this could be a GREAT setting for a movie!
Anyone know why there haven't been any real video games based in the Rifts world? It seems like a perfect match (as long as it didn't try to use the Palladium rule set...)
