Game Of The Week: Jungle Speed!

This table top card game (of the non-collectible variety) relies on fast thinking and even faster hands. As the players flip their cards, they are expected to keep track of the shapes on the table... of the colors on the table, and if things get dicey, even of the patterns on the cards. Jungle Speed! relies on speed of game play to make things interesting, and it succeeds.

I think, however, that the 'jungle' in the name comes from the aggression that comes from frantically grabbing for the totem (this is called a challenge, and the fastest person to recognize a match and snatch the totem wins) and not from the 'totem' itself. This is a fun game, and fast paced doesn't really do it justice. Not only will this game keep you sharp, it's a good way to end up wrestling with an angry losing player.... just make sure said romantic target is cute and buff (or is that in the buff?). Oh... and make sure the one you're after isn't color blind. Trust me, that really puts a damper on the game, even if it makes for some great wrestling afterwards!
