Scion Companion To Be Released Online

The next companion for the White Wolf RPG Scion, entitled--well, the Scion Companion--will be released as a series of four PDFs for $5.49 a pop from DriveThruRPG, much like what's happening with Nobilis' Society of Flowers (except, you know, without a get-it-for-free option).

The first one will be released this month close to St. Patrick's Day, and in that holiday's honour it's all about the Irish pantheon: the Tuatha Dé Dannan. Which is pretty damn cool. The three forthcoming sections will provide additional rules and powers along with advice for Storytellers, and another pantheon: The Chinese Celestial Bureaucracy. You wouldn't believe how happy that makes me.

After that wraps up, all of the PDFs plus a bunch more stuff (i.e. tripling the PDFs' contents) will be combined together and the Scion Companion released as a hardcover book/PDF. This is an interesting new venture for White Wolf (though not a foreign one to fans of indie RPGs)--if you like it, show your support and when the time comes, get that PDF!
